I Need My "Psychotherapist" Twice a Week for Heat and Control

Life has a way of throwing everything at you at once. Between switching jobs, roommate drama, and the weight of daily stress, finding a way to truly "feel" each other’s presence becomes a necessity. For this couple, navigating a cross-border relationship during these tough months meant turning to the warmth of technology to find a sanctuary in their LDR.

The last few months have been some of the hardest I’ve ever faced. Between kicking out a roommate and switching jobs, I felt completely drained. Being in a LDR in different countries only added to the stress. We knew we needed something more than just a video call to stay connected while we saved up for our next visit.

 

Around New Year’s, we decided to invest in remote control toys, specifically the Osci 3 for me and the Hush 2 for him. Honestly, it fulfilled our need for connection and it's been great for my mental health. We try to connect at least twice a week, and these immersive sessions have become my favorite way to decompress and feel his company.

 

What I really loved about the Osci 3 was the heating feature. Because I am in a long distance relationship, I cannot really feel his warmth, and somehow the heating feature makes my brain believe it's him.. especially when he is taking control of the toy. I also love creating vibration patterns to use together.
