Anal Toy Review – The Ro-Zen Butt Plug and Penis Ring Combo

I’ve tried a Rocks Off product before (the ass berry), but I had never used a butt plug and penis ring combo before – so when I was offered the chance, I just had to give it a whirl with my partner.

DISCLAIMER: I received this product from this company for free in exchange for a fair, unbiased review.

SPECS

  • Anal plug, cock/ball ring combo
  • Silicone and ABS plastic
  • Battery included with a removable bullet vibe
  • 12-month guarantee
  • Waterproof
  • Penis ring (inside diameter 3cm, no stretch)
  • Testicle ring  (inside diameter 4cm, no stretch)
  • Penis ring (inside diameter 6-7cm, with stretch)
  • Testicle ring  (inside diameter 6-7cm, with stretch)
  • Plug circumference = 12cm at widest
  • Plug length = 7cm insertable

SIDE NOTE: Strech measurements are not exact. The testicle ring is thicker so it doesn’t stretch as far.

THE PACKAGING

The packaging is on-brand with what I expect from Rocks Off. The plastic insert that holds the toy is also something I’m used to seeing (an inexpensive way to protect the product inside). The product description is translated into six languages.

There’s a little instruction manual (that doubles as your warranty), but it seems it’s a general one targeted to their entire company line – like “if your toy is rechargeable, do this…” sort of thing.

USING THE TOY

The first thing I noticed (before it got anywhere near my partner) is that the vibrations start on HIGH, then go to med, low, and the patterns.

It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but some people prefer to be eased into their pleasure (and frantically pressing through the levels might be a con in some people’s books – not mine though, he likes his vibes on the stronger side).

The next thing that’s worth pointing out is that it took some trial and error to figure out which sequence to … insert … him worked best. In the end, we found this was the easiest…

  • Cock ring first, I held it in place
  • Second, balls through the second ring
  • Finally, he held the two rings while I inserted the butt plug

The problem is, the opposite way would have the plug pop out. It’s also totally doable with one set of hands (we just preferred to do it together).

Once things were where they should be, we started the bullet vibrator. The vibes were more on the buzzy end of the scale, but he liked them immensely (and immediately), with preferences going to the highest steady setting and the first patterns (on/off vibes).

We did have two issues though…

1. The plug popped out again and I had to hold it in place during our session.

The solution would be to redesign the plug neck to be thinner (and therefore allow the anus to grip it better), BUT since the bullet can’t be made smaller, this means the widest part of the plug would have to be made bigger. This brings on a secondary problem – bigger plugs can scare away customers.

2.  His testicles slowly slipped out of the ring.

I’m not sure there’s a solution to this problem, because cock rings are NOT a one-size-fits-all deal. They need proper measurements so they stay in place correctly and safely. Stretchy materials like silicone are often the solution (and much easier to put on), but this means that the flexibility will cause the very problem we ran into.

  • The texture around there perineum didn’t really do anything
  • Small area to put the toy in, so it’s easy to accidentally turn on the toy or change the patterns.

A LOOK INSIDE

Sorry for the fuzziness of the toy – we all know how silicone is a dust magnet. But as for the bullet, it’ was a bit difficult to get out but way easier to put back in. This should make thorough cleaning easy enough.

CLEANING

The silicone was simple to clean (soap and warm water). There were no issues at all.

I am a tad concerned about where the bullet vibrator sits in the plug section. You definitely have to clean them separately. My suggestion would be to take extra care around this area to make sure there’s no build-up from usage.

SILICONE BURN TEST

I did a basic burn test to see if the material would melt.

It didn’t exactly melt, but it did leave some scoring behind and a permanent mark.

There was nothing “sticky” so I don’t think there’s any rubbers or jellies added, perhaps it’s just the silicone recipe. Still, It should function as a standard silicone toy when it comes to porosity.

SOUND TEST

As you can see, (on the highest level), it’s not a very loud toy.

PROS AND CONS

  • Body-safe materials
  • Decent bullet vibe (for a battery)
  • Battery included
  • Rings are stretchy (beginner friendly)
  • Cock rings help maintain erections
  • Discreet packaging (shipping)
  • 1-year guarantee
  • Easy to clean*
  • Rings might not fit all users
  • Plug neck needs to be smaller
  • Generic instruction manual with single picture guide
  • *Section around the bullet might catch bacteria

FINAL THOUGHTS

The textures didn’t really do much for extra stimulation or keeping it in place.

I can’t see this toy being a “wear in public” sort of thing (with how easy the plug comes out), but I do see it as an interesting addition bedroom play and to someone’s toy chest – especially someone who is looking for different or unique designs/concepts.

There’s the issue of if the rings will fit the wearer. However, with the specs I gave you it should make it easier to decide if it might work for you or not.

All in all, I think this toy did okay (which could be considered “great” compared to some of the suspect stuff out there). I think it’s worth a try if you’ve used cock and ball rings and want something different to experience. You can find it here at Diskret.
